Frisch Bedside Tables

The Frisch Bedside Table is a custom-designed piece created for a returning client and it’s built with both form and function in mind. Immediately, the fluted walnut drawer face stands out, capped with a full-width arched handle that features an integrated finger-pull groove on the underside. When opened, the drawer reveals brass pins with walnut cores that secure the handle to the fluted face.

Inside the drawer is a solid maple drawer box riding on full-extension, soft-close drawer slides for smooth and reliable operation.

The body of the Frisch Bedside Table is constructed from walnut-veneered plywood with solid walnut edge banding, along with solid walnut lower edges that allow a large radius to be run along the long edges.

The legs are made from solid walnut, and the top of the case features a raised lip designed to help keep items from sliding off. At the request of Mr. and Mrs. Frisch, a second tier was added, featuring a front-edge arch that mirrors the shape of the drawer handle. This upper tier is supported by hand-tapped, hand-threaded brass rods and can be included or omitted based on customer preference.

The Frisch Bedside Table is available as a single piece or as a matching pair and can be customized to suit your space.
